Launches 31st may at LGW/MAN then LHR. Same stuff really just new logo/colours, and inbound is sponsered by lord of the rings so has that logo on the bag and the pen - plus it finally includes socks... no more requests for them from annoyed passengers on the way home!!![^]

...and/or it finally recognises that "the way home" for some people is the outbound leg for others!

This is definitely an improvement (as far as I can see) and, although I don't travel ex-LGW much, it's refreshing to see VS introduce this first in LGW/MAN. However, I don't see why it can't be introduced everywhere at once[:?]

Ah the joys of manufacturing!
They will have stock of old Y kits to use up, plus the ability of the new supplier to ramp up production will be the reasons why

May I take this opportunity to say a thank you to VS for not ditching the single most valuable piece of the amenity kit ? I refer, of course, to THE PEN. As Joni says, you don't what you've got til it's gone, and the sheer stress associated faced with a green card and no gratis writing instrument (a big mistake in 2002 when I opted to fly CDG-LAX on Air France) still brings me out in hives.

No thats the current offering, recent deliveries have had the new VS logo on them - both outbound & inbound. Think the new one is very similar however...we will find out at the end of the month!
