I think from what I have seen thus far that I know the answer to this one already, but just in case I am missing something I'll ask you wonderful Gurus just in case.

Myself and my girlfriend are flying LHR -> SYD later this year and are flying economy (Yes I am filled with dread at this thought but PE upgrade is a ridiculous sum!). So to make the whole experience a little more appealing I wondered if there was any route to get access to the Clubhouse at LHR for a little pre flight pampering?

TIA and great site btw! :)

It is a great site isn't it!

Did you book via Virgin Holidays ... you can buy a Club House visit through them if you did but I think that's the only way. Of course, another option is to look at the itineraries section here and see if any Golds are flying same day and time, and hope for an invitation (or two).

Or sit outside the CH entrance with a sign reading 'Need Clubhouse Access - Can I be your guest?'

Alas its not a booking through VH so I cant take that option, but perhaps I'll take up Benjamins suggestion... Now to dig out the laminator for that "quality" finish on the sign ;-)

While it isn't the Clubhouse there are some other Lounges you can pay approximately £15 for entry with drinks and nibbles included in the price. Not quite as posh, but still away from the crowds.

Thanks for the tip fozzyo, actually I already get free access to the Servisair lounges. Your right it does get you a little peace and quiet and drinks etc which is a good benefit.... Oh but the lure of the CH!

This site is turning me into a miles monster now... I've just got the VS Amex Black card in order to generate more mileage!
