Does anyone else get annoyed that virgin-atlantic.com defaults your destination to NYC??
I know it's daft, but it does frustrate me when using "back" to change dates whilst looking for fares / availability.
Sorry - whinge (cabincrew.com!)over...

Not any particular help, but I've just been experimetning with it and it seems to hold my first selected destination, allowing me to vary the dates without worrying about the destination.
Is there a particular navigation path you're using ?
Thx

I've recently been checking flight to MRU and playing with dates, and then pressing back to change the date. I then have to re-select the destination....
Just tried it again and now I lose the cabin and destination....only keeping the dates [?]

You need to click the purple 'Previous' link which is towards the top of the screen rather than clicking your browser's back button once you start the flight booking process.

Yes it is annoying and if I don't notice you go further down the booking process before finding out.

If it can retain the dates...surely it can retain the destination and cabin.
I can't see the benefit in the system reverting to NYC and Economy..

In the top-right corner of the web page, select the UK site, press go and it'll revert back to LHR.
The reset of the fields has more to do with the browser than with the website.

Just give VS a call. There is no online booking bonus at this time. Maybe if there was even a 1,000 or so bonus I would consider booking VS tickets online.
Hell, VS could even tier the bonus. For Example:
Book Y online, get 700 Bonus Miles
Book W online, get 1,400 Bonus Miles
Book J online, get 2,100 Bonus Miles
Couls upsell a few folks who may not even use the miles. Cheap and easy.
