Hi all,
I would like to get a ground-operations (check-in, gate agent, and the like) job with Virgin at either JFK or EWR. I initially contacted VS recruitment who referred me to the US-based recruitment team. But both the e-mail address and telephone number they gave me did not work. A further inquiry yielded another e-mail address but that also did not work!
I was going to call the US customer service line or the number for Virgin at JFK but I thought I would check here first to see if anyone could help.
Best regards,
Will
P.S. Thanks to Pete for helping me with my account.

Have a look at the VS web site (US version) under the 'All about us' then the 'Work for us' then the 'Current Vacancies' links and you get a list of all current available positions in the US.
Current VS US airport jobs can be found
hereRegards

Well I think you maybe better servied by contacting Swissport as IIRC they handle VS checking and ground ops. VS contracts out there ground support so you would not find openings on a VS website.

Judging from the ad, looks like VS are recruiting staff "Turn Co-ordinators" in place at some/all of the outsourced stations, to oversee and co-ordinate the work being done by the outsourced ground staff.

JFK passenger services is handled by Swissport and EWR is handled by Hallmark. The only VS positions available are Turn-coordinators (at both stations), however experience in the field is very necessary for that position.
If you're truly interested in working for the handlers, I can provide you with contact info. Just send me a private message and I'll get you the necessary contacts.

One week it's novelty birthday cards and fluffy toys, the next it's ramp services; now that's what I call a multi-national conglomerate!:D
