Hi, What is a reasonable price to expect to pay for PE in September (Manchester to Orlando). I know that there is a sale at the moment, do the prices go this low for September every year?

Thank you

It is impossible to say what the fares will be like every September. As you rightly say there is a fare sale on now but there is no guarantee that there will be one every year as a lot depends on the demand

For MCO it might be worth checking out what VH could offer you for a flydrive, the upgrade prices are quite competitive and you can get 10% discount with being a FC member and car included too.

The VS prices will vary and its a decision whether to wait and see if the fares come down, which is quite possible, but when they do there might not be any K's left, which would mean an S or W and most likely paying more than an K would have cost to start with.

I too have just booked a PE special offer fare for ORD in Septmber, and to be honest I've never seen such low PE fares. It's worked out less than 50% of the normal PE fare to ORD.

Anything under £600 is good going (I've just done a quick check and for 1 week in September, the lowest PE return fare to MCO I can find is coming in at £570) - you will be hard pressed to find it much lower than that.

I'd say book it now whilst you get the chance.

I'd looked at V hols for ORD but they came no where near the direct VS price.

Well, it's possible to say what the published fares will be:

2/Sep Dep:
K = £400+ (note: in fare sale at present)
S = £932+ (21 Day advance purchase)
W = £1232+ (7 Day advance purchase)
W = £3444+ (FULL W)

20/Sep Dep:
K = £370+ (note: in fare sale at present)
S = £902+ (21 Day advance purchase)
W = £1202+ (7 Day advance purchase)
W = £3444+ (FULL W)

Bearing in mind, you can get a Z with 21 day advance for £1325+, if you did get stuck buying an S fare later on in the year, the extra £120 might be worth just flying Upper Class instead.

Paul

Am I right in saying that those fares you quoted dont include tax/fees?
