I have attempted to redeem some miles to fly with Continental from GLA to EWR. VS are saying that points can only be redeemed for flying on CO codeshare, meaning LGW or LHR.

Is this right? And if not, how do I go about redeeming some points on this route?

They gotta be wrong. How could FC show a USA-South America award on CO metal which VS does not code on then? Call back and talk to someone else.
