UPDATED - Prices to SYD? now via AMS.....?

I've looked at the VAA web site for UC to SYD around early september and they're all looking to be around £4K+ GBP. Does anyone have any insight into what else might/should be available, before I call the FC?

If you're talking about THIS September, the prices (I would suggest) are only now likely to go UP.

At the moment, I'm seeing £6k + for VS. Qantas and BA are around the £4.2k mark for Business. The issue is, you're well within the 42 day Z Apex window, and the 14 day D Apex is fast approaching, I'm sure.

Ah, guess what... if I put AMS - SYD into Expedia, and ask for "Business Class" (not 1st or PE, note) I get offered a fair of £2.6K in "Business Class".

Now, I can't be sure it's UC, but I think it is, but how on Expedia can I check what the VAA fare code is before buying the ticket. I tried looking at the "restrictions" on the Expedia offered ticket on the expedia pages, but no-where I can see exactly what the fare code is - any ideas how I could check this????
