Can't help but feel there might be a little homophobia at play here.

I was also joyfully unaware of their respective sexual orientations.

So he didn't ask the AB crew, but he did the VS crew - how strange.

Instead of 'please put your seat forward,' or, 'please buckle your seatbelt,' we got, 'I need you to do this,' and, 'I need you to do that.'

I would expect this while walking the cabin to ensure it is secure - a time when I would assume you need to direct people to buckle up rather then ask them.

This is a country where the Anglican Church officially holds this view.

It lost credibility for me when SRB was described as "a pretty-boy knight". Knight maybe, but pretty ?

For much of the cabin crew's job they can't just ask the passengers to comply with regulations, they have to insist that they follow them. Hopefully the crew did not say it in a rude manner, but part of their job is to make sure that rules are followed and that the passengers stay safe.

But putting opinions of the crew aside, this writer's opinion doesn't have much respect from me anymore after many of the quotes in there.

LOL - have you seen him close up too [:p]?

I loved the bit about how the FAs were more friendly to each other than the pax ... never happened to me, no Guv'nor no.

Footnote:

How strange of Mr Decker to come across such wonderful triteness in the world wide Web!

I didn't realize there were two Air Botswana's, I hope I'm on the one mentioned in three weeks time.
