The Sunday Times today reviews the PE offerings of a number of airlines.

Note the reference to "Separate Lavatory" under VS[:w]

VS does come out well from this review though

We saw that too in the paper today when we were reading - some other interesting 'mistakes' [:D}

Had an interesting experience the other day on the VS-900. UC loos were full and after waiting about ten minutes for one to vacate, an FA suggested I use the PE john while PE tucked into their brekky. Well it's about twelve years since I've been back that far in a plane, but interestingly that khazi seemed much cleaner than those in UC - in fact it was spotless despite being nine hours into the flight.

I have regularly thought that the state of the privies on VS is often appalling, wreaking of stale something even at the beginning of a flight, but perhaps that's only the UC cabin? Are the chodbins at the stubby end a glistening oasis of freshness? I think I should be told of what I have been missing in the mile-high lav department.

The bogs on BA are stinkie all the way down the aircraft,AA thunderboxes similar,CX by comparison had lovely clean heads:D

Howard, gotta luv you for that post, missed out "head" though!

Flew "J" with Air Mauritius a few years ago. The CC lock the lavs off to prevent those from "further back" using them & kept them clean as new.
