I seem to remember from previous TRs that a Christmas meal is served and I also have a vague recollection of a special amenity kit or a present being dished out. [?]

A turkey dinner is served from the middle of dec until boxing day and the customers in J get a special gift if they fly on Christmas eve landing on christmas day.

Sorry - airlines publish availability in cabins to online tools. Different airlines report differently but rather than report the total number of seats available they indicate up a maximum of 7 or 9 available. So with VS if they show 7 seats available in a cabin it normally indicates good availability in that cabin. For those flights the online tools indicate that each class has 7 seats available - or "straight 7s". See also

I've travelled on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day and both have been pretty full, but from TRs etc. I think Christmas Day is generally fairly quiet.
