Do any members know if I would be able to use my laptop on a MAN-MCO flight in PE? The website says there is no laptop facility in Economy, but does not say if this applies to PE.
Also I see the laptop power tip list doesn`nt include my Acer Aspire model, so am I stuffed anyway, or are VS slow to update these lists.
Anyone know?

Welcome to v-flyer!
I'm afraid the 747's that Virgin use from Manchester and Gatwick - the so called LGW/MAN config do not have power points in the current PE seats, unlike the Airbus A340-600's which fly ex-LHR, and the new PE equipped LHR 747's.
Fleet fact sheet page 2 helps

At the moment, I think there is only laptop power in upper with flights from lgw/man/gla, but after the p/e refit sometime in the future, who knows.
(Don't know about the p/e seats downstairs but pretty confident they don't)

On a side issue, did anyone else notice the blatant mistake in the VS PE Fact Sheet that NS posted the link to in reply to the OP?
From the Fact Sheet....
"The configuration of seats on the Upper Deck of the Boeing 747 is 2 Ã 2 with the configuration of 2-3-2 on the lower deck of 747 aircraft and on all Airbus aircraft".
Nice to see that VS know how their aircraft are configured! I am 100% certain the config on the lower deck of a 747 is 2-4-2 in PE.

I wouldn't bet on that. despite having the new PE from LHR to O'Hare, there was no power in PE on the airbus I flew in....
