Carrying on from the 'crew rest area' thread - I read on another forum that some aircraft have a Crew Panic Room. Maybe no-one is allowed to answer this one - but what on earth happens in there? (except lots of panic!!)

Oh I can't remember exactly where I read it - it was by following a link from this site, then another link etc etc - you know how it goes! I thought it seemed hugely unlikely but thought id ask anyway. [8D]

Why my interest in crew areas? Plain nosey I guess! The life of Cabin Crew seems like such a mix of good (travel) and bad (customers!) points - so I guess it'd be nice to know that airlines take care of their employees who are - after all - the face of the company. I know that I for one would not be able to look my best after a 14 hour flight with whinging customers!

Im a music teacher - so my 'customers' are aged 14 - 18. Go figure!

all the above should give you a pretty good idea of our lives, even if it is a little far fetched at times
