VS Clubhouse: How do I get in?

Hi

I have heard quite a lot about the VS Clubhouse:), and i was wondering,

How do i get in? how much do i pay? etc

Simple:

Fly Upper Class (or fly with someone travelling upper class)
Have Gold Flying Club status (or fly with a Gold FC member)
Have an Amex Centurion card
Buy access as part of a Virgin Holidays package

I've probably forgotten one or two other reasons...

Odessey,
as BC said there are various ways of getting in the clubhouse, all of them of course need you to be flying on a VS flight..

the easiest and cheapest way of getting into the Clubhouse is to add your flights to the Itinerary calandar section, if your lucky some v-flyer AU card holders will be flying the same day and if your really lucky might sign you in as a guest!

Although recently they seem to be charging for V-touch treatments for guests..

food & booze are still free for all

No treatment at all for guests now, they have no facilites for taking payment, new rules have been in force for 8 weeks pity VS has not told it's customers of the change.

The Premier Team knew nothing about it when I rang them.It certainly was not the case the time before I took guests in last November.

They need to clarify this..diluting the Gold status based on cost cutting is dangerous indeed.. It could have been embarasing if this happened when if you were traveling with a business client etc..

It was very embarrassing for me and upsetting for my daughter.I could not understand why my daughter could not have had my treatment 2 gold cards should mean 2 treatments.I have had difficulty with the same member of the LHR clubhouse check in staff before.Roll on the new clubhouse we were told there are going to be big changes with clubhouse check-in the work is under way.

I see so you didn't use your treatment at all!!
I'd definately talk to VSFC about this as you were effectively denied a treatment.. at the end of the day if you want to transfer your treatment to your daughter I doubt there are rules prohibiting this..
I've not even found any rules regarding no guest treatments...
Certainly worth a phone call who knows vs might offer you a few K miles as a compensation??

I could do that, but to be honest it was the only blot on an otherwise fantastic trip, now I know about the new rules I will approach the situation from a different angle next time I have guests;)
