Just been watching BBCNews24 and it seems oil is about to hit the $100 a barrel mark.
My question is does this mean fuel surcharges will be going up or do airlines buy their fuel in advance at a fixed price?

A lot of airlines hedge their fuel link, however you can bet that the fuel surcharge will go up quickly and be slow to come down.
