Hi
I've just tried to book a limo for an upcoming reward flight (there are four of us) and I've been told that the limos will only take 3 passengers. Can anyone confirm that this is correct
Cheers, Mark

Correct me if I am wrong, the reason they say this is because of the luggage situation?

The T&C on the
VS website say max of three passengers.
There is a caveat that special requests may be honoured for extra passengers for those booking J fares, but I don't know if this will apply to reward bookings. The range for reward bookings is totally different, so the T&C for 'special requests' may be different as well.

Indeed this is too make sure there is ample space for luggage, and eases the checkin process. However I did the same recently and spoke to the virgin upper class support team and they were very helpful, and got tri star to send one of the estate cars. Note though that if you have a mixture of passengers U/C and other classes, it is up to the drive through checking folks whether they are able to accomodate checking in the whole group. Depends on how busy they are. But they were really helpful and allowed us all to checkin at drive through

They are providing a people carrier for me (us) 5 Pax, via Tristar. It's a sort of long based silver Merc people carrier they said (no idea myself).

BTW, they are techinically called CDC's (Chauffeur Driven Cars) as they are not always limos, and in the past soem passengers have thrown a Timmy because they were expecting a full stretch limo.

Did they want to go to the airport or go out on a hen night?

Well I called UC reservations again..this time I didn't mention reward...but was told again that for 4 passengers I needed two limos. I suggested a people carrier etc..but no...two limos required. Seems a bit of a waste 25000 miles to get 4 people to the airport so I'll probably just take my own car. Thanks for the help anyway
