I had a call from VH a few weeks ago about it, but I'm highly likely to be in Edinburgh for most of August. My theatrical side calls...

Is the invitation limited to Frequent Virgins? I have never used VS, so I don't think I am entitled to attend[:)]

So pix can't make it as he is up in EDI as he is so confident he is going to win the auction for dinner with TBS...

We must be able to get one table at least...

Thanks,
Richard

I would think that's very possible. I'm almost tempted to fly down especially.

Would VH let us book an entire table for VirginFlyer? 10 seats, right?

Err I think when I say Shaw and Mannion......

I think it was 10 or wsa it 12 - anyway - there are nearly 300 members here - we should easily fill a table or two.

I first met pix at last years birthday party for VH, and I think he will vouch for me saying that the prizes that were given away were quite good - there was at least one winner on every table!

Thanks,
Richard

Well, if we want a whole table, we'll have to get in quick. These things sell out fast.

Only problem is, VH are obviously restricting this to Frequent Virgins, so we'd need to find 10/12 FVs who would actually want to put up with me and thee gossiping all night.

If I can be guaranteed of winning the ticket for the Bahamas inaugral flight, I'll be there!

Hi all,

I've made this topic sticky as we are getting nearer the event (21st August).

I will stay overnight, Birkin is interested in coming but said she would give it up if there are more V-Flyers wanting to go than we have room for, good sort my missus [:X]

Richard, what's the score, can we have an update please?

Do you have to be a 'Frequent Virgin' for this party or what? If not, then I'm up for it (there's a bar, isn't there? [:D])

Cheers

Err small confession, this has somehow fell off my radar due to my recent house move (understatement of stress).

If anyone has the number still (as I still have boxes everywhere) then I will call them and plead for a table.

Thanks,
Richard

We are real new to this site, and we were wondering how we get to join these clubs you all talk about and how we get to go to your meets etc

Welcome Dougie.

There are basically three different clubs we are talking about here.

The first, and most common, which I assume from your avatar, you are already a member of, is the Flying Club. This is for all VS Fliers, you can become a red member straight away to build up your points total - then, depending on how often you fly, can become a silver or gold member.

The second club, the subject of this thread, is Virgin Holidays - Frequent Virgins Club. This is only for people who have booked a number (3?) of holidays through Virgin Holidays. I have never used VH, so can't really comment on this one.

The third, and by far the most exclusive[;)] is the V-Flyer club. The good news is that by registering on the forums - you are a member and are welcome to join in on any of the activities that are organised.

So far that has been one afternoon of bowling, drinking and merry making at the Pheasant near to LHR. The next trip that is pencilled in is a river cruise, possibly Sept 25th, but this is still being formalised. See the developing thread for details of this one.

Please feel free to put yourself down for this, and any other V-Flyer function.

Nick
