VS Ryder Cup charter

Hello all

For info VS will operate a special flight to Detroit in Sept taking out the European Ryder Cup team on an A340-600. The a/c will depart from LHR on 13Sep, returning empty the following day. An a/c will then position to DTW on 19Sep, returning with the (victorious:D) team on 20th.

Are there revenue seats on either of the flights or are they reserved for the team, hangers on, press and VIPs?

No would imagine no revenue seats- daily telegraph have been running a comp to get seats on the flight as a VIP in Y! The aircraft will be renamed to a special 'ryder cup' name. Readers of the telegraph are being invited to send there suggestions in and the winner will be on the flight with the ryder cup team. So unless ur a player, manager or press it looks like the only way to get on the flight is to win the naming competition.

Willd is correct...it's a charter so not possible to buy a seat.
