I have never flown out of Gatwick before, normally just stick to JFK, SFO routes from LHR , Just booked Antigua out of LGW. Has anyone ever stayed in the Hilton Suites in Gatwick? Just wondering if they are decent suites comparable to suites at LHR?

Hi DB1,
I have never been upgraded yet to suites at the Hilton Gatwick or Heathrow.
However the Excecutive rooms are nice esp in the new wing ( you should get access if Gold or Diamond) and the Exec lounge is very nice.

I stayed in a suite at the Gatwick Hilton a few years ago.It was a standard double room with a massive living room/dinning room and extra full bathroom connected.I would think that the large living room could be rented as a day room and used for meetings etc on its own without the connecting bedroom. It cost about £100 on top of the normal rate that I paid at the time about £85 but it was a few years back. Not really worth it but I was taking the future Mrs Parr on hols for the first time. The suites at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow are of much better quality and can sometimes be had at a good price.

Thanks for the reply's, i've never stayed in the Radisson when flying out of Heathrow, i use the Sheraton next door 'Starwood Platinum' i phoned hilton reservations they told me the suites are in the new wing with the exec rooms and have been only been opened since Jan 03 so hopefully they should be full of all the Hilton up to date features.
Not a big fan of LGW not a patch on LHR. One day we hope for Virgin to win all the slots at LHR.
