We're nearing the end of our fantastic vacation which began on 4 August when we checked in for Upper Class at LHR - I'll do a trip report when I return home. However, I'm now in the Maple Leaf Lounge at LAX and we're sooooo lucky - we were due to fly back to LHR today on VS24 (Airbus)which incidentally has been delayed until 22:30hrs. Our flight in from Las Vegas arrived at 1pm - the lovely lady on Upper Class asked us if we would like to go on the VS8 (suites!!!!) How's that to end your holiday in style!!!
Can't wait.... This Air Canada lounge is very nice on the upper level of Terminal 2 - they serve appetisers etc., Had 4 wonderful weeks away from Blighty - still need to come home to save up again to fly Upper!!!
Just wanted to thank you all out there for all your help and assistance before we left for the USA - many of your tips were invaluable:D Oh!!! by the way!!! the $20 note handed over with your credit card in THEHotel Mandalay Bay worked like a dream - complimentary tickets abounded and an upgrade to another floor - plus they didn't charge for our son to be in the room either!!!
So thanx to all of you - I'm now going to go away and drool about what "lies" ahead!!!:D;):)
