Newbee needing info on upgrading
Posted: 31 Aug 2004, 15:44We are going to Orlando and have already upgraded out econ ticket to prem econ thru our travel agent.
We have not yet decided whether to upgrade on the return leg- Our travel agent has quoted an additional £250.00- I spoke to Virgin who said we could upgrade thru them as the ticket was not brought thru them direct but they said we could book it once we have traveled the first part of the journey.
I assume this means if we want to book thru VA then we have to do it once we get to Orlando- Does anyone know how much this would be ??
If its dearer than £250 then I might aswell book thru my agent now and know I will get a seat.
Any info greatly appreciated
PS I love this site, its been a great resource to me- Wish I hadnt known about the free op upgrades to row 11 on the 747-400 as this has only raised my hopes and I know as a red card I have littl or no chance !!!
