Wandered if any of you helpful VS staffers or people in the know could tell me when the 5 LGW 744's are due to be completed from their suite re-fits?!? Am wanting to book some flights out of Gatwick but am not so keen on the current Gatwick UC. Any info would be great, many thanks

Hi Matt

3 are due to be done by the end of Dec 2004. I presume the other 2 will be complete by Feb(ish) but don't have any confirmed dates yet. From some limited investigation it seems to be MCO flts that are getting the UCS a/c first...if you have any particular flights/dates in mind I can check in the Res system when I'm at work next. It's no guarantee though! ;)

Cheers
Alan

Thanks for that info! I'm going to Barbados on 27th Feb and coming back on 7th March at the mo it my seat reservations are on an old style 744 on the way out and a suite aircraft on the way back, was hoping that my outward flight will be changed to suites too would be really interested on what you reckon or could find out. Thankyou very much for replying, you guys must get a bit peeved with all these questions!!!

What about LAS? Do they figure anywhere in the priority for suites? I will find out as im flying there in December, but i would definately look at upgrading if we could get UCS for that flight!

Hi Matt

Sorry for the late reply. Yes at the moment the system is showing an 'old' 744 on the way out and a UCS 744 on the way back. The questions are no problem...I'm glad to help! :)

Hi Highflyer

VS43 on 1st Dec is showing a UCS a/c but obviously I can't check every flight! I can check if you let me know your dates.

Cheers
Alan

Im flying out to LAS on 23rd Dec, back home on 28th.

Im not too fussed if they are not suites, so no need to go out of your way to check, but it would be great if they were as i might give FC a call to get an upgrade in if possible. With the 10 hour journey it would be rude not to spend that in the UCS!! LOL

:)
