Hi folks, anyone seen or heard anymore about the Boston Clubhouse development?

I see that there has been a switch from the Northwest facility to the Aer Lingus one, from checking out the Shared Lounge listing on the VS website.

Anyone with a BOS trip planned soon feel like pumping the BOS ground staff for insider info to feed the V-Flyer rumour mill? [;)]

Well, I see there has been the move to the Aer Lingus lounge, but wasn't VS supposed to be building it's own lounge facility in BOS?

This was in my Flying Club newsletter which was mainly talking about the new Tokyo clubhouse, I received yesterday.

'All flying should be this way. That's why we're adding another place to spoil you: this autumn Boston gets its very own Clubhouse. You can enjoy access to all our amazing Clubhouses around the world when you fly Upper Class - plus every Clubhouse welcomes our Flying Club Gold members and a guest whatever class they are travelling in. So wherever you want to go, you can make every part of your journey a pleasure.'

Couldn't find anything on VS website though.

Well, I asked the checkin agent at BOS just now about progress on the new CH and she said 'opening at the end of the year/beginning of next' I did notice, however, as I ambled down the corridor that the lounge next door to the Aer Lingus dentist's waiting room, which I seem to recall was the BA lounge, is boarded up with signs of construction having taken place.

When I was there last month, I asked and got a vague 'it is under construction' but no opening date.

I was told that I would see it being worked on, as it is on the same corridor as the Aer Lingus lounge, but then I forgot to look. [:I][:I]

I hope it will be up and running by February. [:D][;)]

The VS clubhouse is being constructed in what was the BA First class lounge and is indeed hidden from view with a piece of plastic at the moment. Its not particularly large I would say about the same size as the EI lounge.
