Does anyone know how many tier points the code share leg of LHR->EWR->IAH earns in Y (booking class is W but I'm assume no PE on CO internal leg).
Thanks,
Baps.

I wasn't sure if the normal partner airline earning rates for TP's apply in this case as the internal leg is booked as the second leg of an international flight so yeilding 2 TP/leg instead of 0 as indicated for flights under 2000 miles in Y, basically similar to how it works for BA fligth with an intern AA codeshare leg such as LHR->ORD->AUS.
Thanks,
John.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but this asks the question I wanted to - but doesn't give the answer!
If I book LHR-IAH return via newark in J on VS1/VS2 then utilising the continental codeshares (EWR->IAH) how many tier points do I earn?
Presumably it is 5 in total for the VS1 LHR->EWR
and 5 for VS2 EWR->LHR
Is it then a further 1 for EWR->IAH
and 1 for IAH->EWR
given that it is continental metal or does the fact it is on a VS prefix (VS3911/VS3962) mean that something else funny goes on?
Presumably it would be the same as for the BMI VS codeshares connecting at LHR?
