Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

In early October, I changed my flight arrangements which required an additional payment (>1k). To do this I used my Amex green charge card.

Almost 6 weeks on and this spend has yet to appear on my card is this normal? The flights are loaded onto the system and I have selected seats etc.

I know they will take the money [n], but could do with the spend for points/miles.

Has anyone else experienced this, the ironic thing is that my daily 5 Itsu Sushi appears on the card within 24 hours [:?]?

I would say its just one of those things. Sometimes transactions can take an age to appear on your CC statement, I had one that took 6 months once! I very much doubt you can do much to chase it along either.

It's possible you will be sent to the ticket desk at the airport to pay that charge in person. I have experienced that before. I had to pay a change fee for changing the date of a flight. I had given them my Amex number so thought that was that. When I went to check in I was sent to the ticket desk to pay my change fee. I'm not sure why they take the card details if they don't actually put the charge through.

Found out what the problem was, and now have correctly issued ticket (thanks to the Premier Team).

When I made changes to these tickets in early October, the Booking Agent made notes for the Revenue Agent who actually undertakes the card transaction.

In my instance, the Revenue Agent wouldn't put through the transaction as they didn't understand what was going on (fair enough). The Revenue Agent had Emailed the Booking Agent who had not bothered to reply.

Everything appears to have been sorted out now, the good news is that we will have taken the flights before paying for them.
