Upper Class Suite ... at home.

So my 9yr old has all of the typical Virgin goodies available in the Retail Therapy catalog. He and his sister pretty much have every kid thing available from 98 or so... he wants more. I've posted this request over on the 'cabin experience', but nothing.
We have decided to do his bedroom up as a 'cabin' in Virgin purple/silver/maroon. Overhead bins mounted to the outside walls, his own replica of an oversized Upper Class suite (luan plywood sides, covered with beige vinyl), fold out TV monitor, purple mood lights. Fake exit door painted on the wall; a trolley to hold books, the whole getup. I've been lifti/h/h/h/h/h buying UC cabin things on eBay for a while, but the one thing missing is the pillow/duvet. Kid really wants it. I am willing to pay an obscene amount of money for this thing if anyone can point me to a source.
I'll post photos of the 'cabin' when done if anyone is interested.

Well, I for one want to see it! [y]
(As for duvet, as in the other thread - perhaps a polite 'beg' of the crew onboard a flight one day might help you remove one with semi-permission...?)

I really hate to steal it, but the good press would pay dividends

FWIW, I get my Gold card for the year today on VS3118 (Continental codeshare EWR) with a return next Sunday on VS1; perhaps I can con the Clubhouse staff into my plea.

It's not stealing; sometimes these things just happen to end up in your carry-on[:w]

Ok, thanks. If one goes missing sometime next week, I had nothing to do with it.

You are stealing from shareholders, sir! This is a disgrace... [:w]
Seriously speaking, though, might I provide a nice amenity kit? I would be happy to post it to you...one of the nicer old ones, not the tat you get today.

Ha, I couldn't afford you! At least not the college years.
Since I can't seem to get one 'legitamately', my cunning plan is a follows. I will explain my plight/desire to the Clubhouse MOD, and also discretely/casually/midflight to the onboard Cabin Services Supervisor - the boss in the black blouse.
I will fill one of those Coins for Kids charity envelopes with enough foreign leftover notes to make them smile/look the other way. I probably have a hundred quid in a dozen different leftover currencies. At least it will ease my conscience.

TBH, there's not any point in mentioning it to anyone in the clubhouse. They have nothing to do with the provision of those items on-board. Just ask the crew [y]

You are absolutely right. Probably not the best idea in retrospect. I'll keep my mouth shut and just keep stuffing bills into the envelope [:w].

I think a letter to VS could help you out. I for one want to see the pictures of this.
My parents did remind me of a letter I tried (they stopped me though)to send to VS asking for a duty free cart when I was about 6 years old [:I].

I wonder if the butler will acknowledge His Au status when turning the bed down...[;)]

Why don't you just spend the obsene amount of money on the real thing? Not fly him around the world forever...that would be cruel[:p]. There's this company that deals in aircraft seats, you can talk to the sales team. I did it.
Oh yes...they cost an obscene amount of money.
