I'm flying long haul from T1 on Sunday and was wondering if the Servisair lounge is worth the money to start the holiday off in a relaxed manner?

If you can't get into another lounge then go for it & enjoy - it is certainly worth being away from the throng.

Please see my trip report from 28th December (VS300).
Not a patch on Virgin's Clubhouse
Can get very crowded at times, with no place left to sit.
can be relaxing and peaceful at other times.
Only light snacks and drinks.
Better than staying in the terminal though, IMHO.
Best wishes for a great holiday

Servisair is Latin for 'The sh*ttest excutive lounge you are ever likely to encounter'. I can imagine that the club lounge at the Beiruit Hilton is nicer.

Suppose it does get you away from the masses as such. I just hate the idiots who have paid for access that think they have made it and sit on the phone telling muppets they are in the First Class lounge. Grr.

I don't think I'll bother, save the £37 for myself and missus and have a nice meal before boarding the flight!

I think I can cope with T1 for a couple of hours! Just got to cope with back row of WTP for 12 hours now, oh for PE on that flight
