UC Front Row - Bulkhead or Not?

Does 6A/6K in UC on the MAN/MCO 747s count as bulkhead or can they be reserved in advance?
I am wondering as I am booking a flight soon and might miss out on them if they can be grabbed by anyone, but can get to check in for opening time to beat everyone else if they can't be reserved.
Thanks

as far as i remember from my last UC flight to MCO a couple of years ago, we were able to pre-reserve row 6

Let's hope they are not already gone then when I am ready to book! I bet they go quick for couples together don't they?

Yes you can prebook them. Strangely though, many dislike these seats because they are very close together, some think too close together ... let us know if you are successful and if you have any issues call VS and the premier team for UC information.

IMO, these two seats are too close together. The backs of the ottoman footrests touch each other & you have the wall at the front the cabin right in front of you. That said, I know couples traveling together love these seats as they are the only two seats in the UC cabin where the couple are very close together & can see each other across what [non existant] aisle there is in complete privacy.
Personally I like rows 8 & 9 on the LGW/MAN fleet - still near the front, but not too near the bar [should people choose to use it]. On the UC flights I've done [all on LGW/MAN fleet], all couples have chosen to use the ottoman to sit together when they want a drink / chat together & the seatbelt signs were off too - so the bar sould have been used.
Hope you can bag 6A/K if they are the seats you want!

I love these seats, but then i'm 5'4'. I'd say that if you were taller than about 5'8' or not particularly close to your travelling companion then sit elsewhere, otherwise they are great seats, and yes they do seem to do quickly.
Thanks,
Sarah

Those seats at the front are great if you are travelling with a partner as they are pretty close together, however they are shorter than the other seats by about an inch or so, it was so that they could fit the cabin and not lose two seats.
The only thing I find on the return leg some of the radar equipment that sits in the nose can be a little noisy on the return flight for sleeping, on some of the LGW/MAN 747 the transformers are a little loud..... my specialist subject

I personallylike these seats. yes, they are a little shorter, but they are private. One of the other advantages is that you get a slightly more forward facing view from the windows - I remember seeing the Golden Gate as we flew towards it coming into SFO

I love these seats, they are our favourites. Last time I checked in at the airport as they gave me my boarding passes the agentsaid you have the best seats on the plane!
I have just managed to book them for our next flight, as they are definately pre-bookable.
As others have said they are great for couples [y]

Thanks everyone.
Hope I don't miss out on them - I am travelling with my wife so will definately want to be in these if possible.
What seats would everyone recommend if these are gone for couple together so we can chat relatively easily? Also, can you actually see out of the windows on take off / landing without twisting your head in any of the UC seats?

6A/K are great for a couple.
None of the UC seats are particularly good for looking out of the window but row6 is as good as it gets.
You also have the advantage in 6 of having an extra shelf in front for loose items.
The disadvantage is no overhead bin - but there's usually plenty of space above 8 etc
If 6A/K are gone then either 8A/9A or 8K/9K allow you to talk easier than across the cabin.
For MAN/MCO take K outbound and A return if you want a view.

Yes - I seem to remember you had grabbed these seats a couple of years ago and my wife and I were consigned to row 7!!
