I've been on one, and, so long as you pick well, they're wonderful. There's just something magical about being at sea which you either love or you don't: they're now our favourite holiday, particularly ones that drop us off at exotic ports where we can do all sorts of strenuous swimming, hiking or exploring, to return to the comfort of the ship's buffet on return
