I think this is an old story - SRB ditched his initial plans for an Indian domestic airline due to the similar issues with overseas ownership that VX suffered with.

The article you have linked is from 2005 when VS launched LHR-BOM. [:)]

I got an email from a travel agents website, then tried to find a link to a public site - obviously I didn't read the BBC story closely enough. [:I][}:)]
