Hi all,
My wife and I fly quite frequently to Vancouver from LHR to visit her family. As there's no Virgin routing that goes there (please tell me there will be soon...!!) we were looking around at alternatives. BMI do a flight out there but it's a codeshare operated by Air Canada. Can we earn Flying Club miles on these flights or are they not eligible? Anyone know if this would work...?

Cheers,
Jon

Jon

See here on the Virgin website, for full details of earning miles with partner airlines.

Air Canada don't get a mention. I think BMI flights have to be on BMI metal to earn VS points, but I have never done this - so stand to be corrected.

In most cases it has to be on the airlines own metal. You can however (not supposed to but) sometimes get a CO flight credited when being flown on VS metal..but whats the point ??? only that it can save you $$$ at times.
