Hi guys, dont post often, but quick question, (Hope its in the correct forum)
Myself and the Girlfriend are flying out to Barbados in April, Flying PE upstairs.
Do Virgin Atlantic offer anything to celebrate a birthday, as the day we leave Gatwick is my girlfriends birthday, would like to do something 2 make the flight memorable, I dont mind paying for cakes etc, so if Virgin offer anything like this, how do I go about it?
Cheers
Chris

Did that last year using the number in the URL Darren supplied. Worked a treat.

Be certain to quote your FC number when ordering as you earn 10 miles per pound when you spend at least 20 quid.

You wont need your booking reference. They only need your flight number and date of travel. They can find your booking using just that info.

According to the FAQ part of the BA site and specifically
this page the answer to your question is no!
Neil
nb: Just typing 'celebration' into the search function on the BA site brings up the page I have linked to, much quicker and more to the point then posting on here I would have thought.

call the retail therapy pre order team and you can order a cake and maybe some champagne???
They will also print a card to be delivered with the cake.
call them on 0870 190 3003.
When you get on board go and secretly speak to the supervisor in Economy and tell them you have ordered it and they will do the rest.

Its all sorted now, bottle of champagne and a cake!
Now all I need to do is keep it a suprise that we are flying PE, not sure thats going to be easy, I have got a Silver Flying club card so that will take care of the using the PE checkin,
hopefully i can keep it quiet!!

Good luck - I've been lucky enough to get away with that twice, crossing lots of body parts that no friendly ground staff member said '...and have a nice flight in PE'. They didn't, and the look of delight on the other half's face on being told 'You're upstairs today madam' was a treat to behold.
Once I had the silver card to hide behind for the PE check in, the other I acted the outraged and impatient traveller - 'Look at these queues! I'm not putting up with this...' - and the PE check in agent played along as I explained the situation sotto voce. That time it was worth it to see my teenage offspring wishing the ground would open up and swallow them as their father stormed around in an apparently world class huff (eat your heart out, D D-L.)
