V-Flyer

Anyone know what is going on with the HK-SYD flights. Looks like there has been a few problems/canx.

Add those to the ORD and JNB flights which have also suffered long delays/cancellations in the last week or so as well.

Things dont seem to be going VS's way at the moment. I guess they need more A/C [:w]

The HKG-SYD flight was initially delayed then cancelled finally due to a fuel line leak which was repaired (also the SYD-HKG leg was also cancelled). I wasn't on that flight however i am/was on that repaired plane - we arrived in HKG and eventually got cancelled due to the same fault again - seems the part they flew in from manilla was no good - within an hour of the cancellation I was tucked up in the airport hotel room and 50,000 miles better off as an apology.

I think but yet to be confirmed that a new plane has arrived and is due to leave at 3pm.

All the HKG staff have been great (not the same for SYD)
