Clubhouse Access??

Have opted to purchase my UC flights through VH this time as am going to be doing accomodation through them as well. Last time I purchased my flights through them (Dec 06) we obviously still had clubhouse access.

This time, on my booking confirmation they've given me 'complimentary access to the v-room', i.e. the new Virgin Holidays lounge at Gatwick - to save me calling them and getting different answers from different people, can anyone confirm that I still get clubhouse access?

If you're flying Upper Class, you get Clubhouse access. If you book a VH Platinum Collection hotel you get complimentary access to the VRoom (anyone else pays £15 a head), which may be why your info. says what it does. However I'd stick with the Clubhouse myself.

You also get complimentary access to the V-Room if you're a member of the VH Frequent Virgin Club until April 2009, and in the member only site you can still book CH access via the club line.

If you have booked Upper Class, then you will get Clubhouse access regardless of where or how you booked it.

As far as I'm aware, FVC members only get a 10% discount for V-Room entry [:?]

From the FVC members-only web site:

As a valued Frequent Virgin Club member we're delighted to offer you 10% off entry to the V ROOM. Normal entry is £15 per adult and £10 per child (2-11). Infants are free.

They are doing a promotion uptil April 09 : (taken from the FVC site)
