I think this may be targeted, as we have only had two copies instead of the usual 4, but got an email from ERewards offering 500 Flying Club points if I register with ERewards and complete a survey by 30th June 08.

It also says that EReward points that are awarded for each survey completed can be converted to Flying Club Points.

Anyone else got it? Also anyone know how many surveys you have to fill in to get any FC points?

Every little helps, as they say. [;)]

I got this from bmi - volunteered for as many surveys as they could throw at me but they have been very few and far between.

Checked out their website - needs 2000 Ereward pts. to get 500 miles.
Its not clear how many Ereward pts. per survey.... could take a long time...

Yep got one here too. Already a member though BMI as well but was able to sign up again [:w]

It seems your e-rewards account is linked to a particular airline as my e-rewards account set up via BMI wont let me trasnfer miles to VS and vice versa.

I've done reasonable well with BMI and topped up my BMI & Hilton accounts with a few thousand miles/points over the last 12 months.

The number of e-rewards points per survey differs with each survey. The highest number of points I've received was 1200 points I think. I seem to remember another one offering about 2000 points but I didn't meet the criteria for that one. You dont always get to finish surveys as they are targeted at specific people and if you dont meet the criteria by the way you answer the first few questions, you will only get a few e-reward points. You get 5 points for just clicking the link to start a survey.

You do also have to be quite quick from receiving the email to filling out the survey though as most of them are time-related and once enough people have filled it in, the survey closes.

The ones I've filled in have mostly been about travel and business related subjects. I currently get about one survey every 10 days or so.

Got it too, as did a guy at work who will fly with VS once every blue moon so not sure how they are deciding who to send it too. I signed up but found it quite long winded filling in the personal survey that I gave up half way through.

This is one offer I will not take up - endless spam from these people for miserly points. No thank you.

My other half and I joined BMI when they were giving away 9,000 miles for a new sign up.
We were then offered 2,500 miles for signing up to e-rewards and then a further 500 for completing my first survey which I did yesterday.
That gives us each a grand total of 12,000 miles, enough for a free flight to Moscow which I think looks tempting in January/February next year!!

Got it (just the once) and registered again as I'm already in there attached to Hilton. I haven't done particularly well as most of the surveys I'm either too late for or just plain don't fit the criteria.

Not noticed a significant change in my spam load since I originally signed up.

Don't think so Will. A guy in my office, who is FC Red and has yet to take an actual VS metal flight and hasn't even got his FC card yet got it[?] Seems very random indeed.

I've signed up, but how do you go about getting the 500 free miles?

I've not received any emails to take part in any survey as yet, do you just have to wait for an invite to do a particular survey?

Cheers

I've also still not worked out how the 500 miles will hit my account as I've not entered my FC # anywhere, unless it's something to do with the link you click on from the email VS sent [?]

Just done my first survey under this login (done several under the Hilton login) and what happens is....

1) Do a survey

2) Check your balance. At this point you should have a 'welcome bonus' message.

3) Click to redeem said bonus

4) As part of the process you get prompted for your FC number (apparently the name you've used on the eRewards site has to be the same as that used on your FC account as well)

5) You should then get a confirmation email saying 'all is well and you should see the points on your FC account in 6-8 weeks'.

Hi all
I just got the 500 miles today. As Paul has stated, just do the first survey and keep a check on your points total and you'll see the reward. Once there, enter your password and flying club number and away ya go!
Cheers

I've just claimed my second load of 500 miles. So far I've had a survey invite every other day. One I was 'rejected' on, got 200 e-rewards for a thank you, another I went all the way though (10 mins) and it got me to the 500 miles (survey awarded 1750 e-rewards).

No increase in spam emails.

Yet to see the miles my account tho'
