747-400 & 340-600

I checked my seating arrangements for my UC September flight LAX-LHR with Virgin and it appears that my original 747-400 has been changed to a 340-600 - seats D4 & D6

Having never flown in a 340-600 I would appreciate users comments on their positive or negative experiences of flying in a 340-600 compared with a 747-400
