Is there any way to predict (or indeed.. find out!) which aircraft is likely to be flying a route on a date in the future (as opposed to the list of what each plane has done recently?)

Ie: LGW - LAS on 2nd July?

Cheers muchly!

Since September 11th - and whilst the terror threat remains high, Airlines try and keep that information out of the public domain.

Staffers can find out what plane is due to fly on a particular route, but we know they get did into serious trouble if they pass this information on. I don't know if that still applies.

It is fairly easy to work out what type is aircraft is scheduled to fly, from seatmaps, but that is always subject to change.

It's currently showing as being one of the Nova aircraft, so will be ROS,GAL,LIP,ROM, or ROY, but that could change nearer the time to one of the odyssey a/c. I dont think even the flight planners know which a/c will be doing what more than a few days ahead, cause of delays, tech issues etc.
