Virgin Blue Velocity has been singled out as the industry's Rising Star for this Freddie Awards. Virgin Blue won a Freddie last year for Best Award Redemption - they've created quite the buzz through their no capacity controls.

Magali Olive from Virgin Atlantic accepted the Freddie on behalf of Virgin Blue.
