Any ideas what happened here? Meant to land 06:20 on the 1st May, now 17:00 on Friday 2nd!

Another bad day for the MCO route too. VS16 22 hours late and not getting in until tomorrow! (3rd May)

Anyone know the knock on to other VS routes? I'm guessing as good as a 36 hour delay and 22 hour delay on two routes is going to be painful especially over a busy bank holiday [:0]

You might be ok tomorrow, as mojority of LGW flights going on time today, apart from the two orlandos which are about an hour and a half delayed, so they should be able to make that time up. Also they BGI and ANU have been combined as a double drop freeing up an aircraft. Fingers crossed for tomorrow, I'm taking a full vegas out, so no delays please!

I was on the 27 yesterday (2nd May) - how did it come about that there were 2 VS flights leaving at the same time though? And yes, when we checked in, we saw that the 15 was due to take off 8 hours late.... I did hear that Virgin had tried to contact passengers to let them know, but in practice, doesn't it seem more likely that they wouldn't have got hold of everyone? And would they even have tried to contact those in economy? I'd like to think so, but somehow would doubt it. Unless they knew well in advance that the 15 would be leaving so late, then I'd have thought it could have been difficult to get hold of people anyway, as they'd have already left home? What kind of redress would such passengers have???

MCO was actually fine.... but we did fly at the front, so that was a clear advantage...

just taken a look today and both MCO inbounds are delayed by about 4 hours [n]

With BA seemingly consistently on time on this route, it does make me wonder how VS can get it so wrong?

Well finally got away two hours late on the VS 27 yesterday [}:)]

Promised on time departure at Check In and right up until boarding when a 90 minute delay was announced [:#] Then sat on the aircraft for another 60 minutes whilst they tried to fix the air con which was blowing out hot air [^]

Arrive in Orlando 90 minutes late to see the flight from the dark side already there on time [y]
