A346 Y row 41 query

Hello,

I have to fly in Y out to EWR on Friday night. I have been allocated seat 41G.

From looking at seatguru and the seatmaps it appears there is no row 42. So there shouldn't be anyone directly behind to recline into - is this correct? Do the seats still have the full recline?

The only alternatives are other G seats further back in the bus so unless anything else opens up for online checkin then I think I'll stick with this one.

Usually on the A346's, the first 8 rows or so (row 31 - 38ish) in Y are always blocked until OLCI opens.

The only seats I'd say to avoid on the A346's are rows 43 - 46. I think the recline is the same on all seats too.

Regards

I believe 31-36 are held back as we've bagged 37 from LAX.

Row 41 to my knowledge (I flew on it only the other day!) backs onto the stairhouse for Crew rest, so will recline but you won't be reclining onto anyone! (I'm 99% certain of that as I'm also thinking our return sector was on the A343, so I am kinda confused - the joys of jetlag!)

Managed to use a VS Amex PE upgrade voucher at LHR to get myself into 18D after all. Worrying thing was:

Check in agent informed me it was impossible to upgrade my ticket using miles as it was already a reward ticket (T) and reward tickets are not upgradable.... errr wrong.

Ticket desk agent didn't know anything about the VS Amex vouchers and said that I could only upgrade using miles... To be fair to her however she was very nice and happily phoned flying club to confirm and then they sorted it all out. Interesting that even the VS ticket agents have to sit on hold for ages to get through to FC as well!
