Hi and welcome to V-flyer. You don't need to have a specific number of posts to join and can post in the Virgin Atlantic - General Discussion forum at any time. Be warned however that if you do post something in that forum which is not directly VS related it will be moved to another forum and may be one to which you do not have access and therefore will not be able to see the replies.

Welcome to the site. We're a friendly bunch here. No post quotas to meet in order to join. IMHO membership is worth every penny. Join at whatever level you see fit.
Has to be VS (in answer to the question).

Welcome, simplydannywan!

Click on the link at the top that says 'Membership Status'. From there you should be able to select a membership subscription for which you'll need a Paypal account.

Thanks,
Sarah

Back to the other half of the OP ... it would have to be PE on VS. While Qantas, NZ and others have a pretty good premium product, and in NZ particularly the food and drink is excellent compared to VS, the seat alone on Virgin would appeal to me, the extra width and comfort being key on this long haul trip.

Welcome to V-Flyer - let us know what you choose?

Welcome onboard, simplydannywan, it's well worth it. I spent simply ages reading all the posts but not having the confidence to join in - can't imagine why now!

Welcome fellow V-flyer virgin - have to say I'm really glad I've joined and everyone has been really friendly and helpful (thanks all!)

Now onto your question. A few of my friends have tried Qantas PE instead of VA and were highly disappointed. They have subsequently returned to PE in VA or with Air NZ.
