Hi,
I am rather curious to know when the busiest time is in the Clubhouse. I have only enjoyed the experience once before and this was early morning to mid morning on a Saturday. It was not very busy then. My next visit will be on Sat again, but from mid afternoon to mid evening. I was just wondering how busy it could be.

I assume you mean the LHR Clubhouse. I have always found it busier in the Clubhouse during the morning, which is why I like the Boston afternoon flight, there seems to be a lull after lunch.
I am sure those who visit far more often than I do will be able to give a more informed opinion.

Hi,
I found it busiest this Saturday. I arrived at about 10am ready for the 4.00pm VS9 service to JFK. There just seemed to be plenty more people than usual.

I'd be interested to know this too - I'm in the CH next Friday for the VS601 - planning to be at check-in at 3.30pm - likely to be busy then?!

I was in the CH a week or so ago entering at approx 1pm for the 4 pm flight to Newark - VS001.
The CH was almost empty - say 25 gueasts at the most
So there is hope you may find the same.
Cheers

Was in the Clubhouse myself at this time on a Friday afternoon last month. The place was practically dead. I couldn't believe how empty it was.
I have been in on Saturday evenings on a number of occasions and each time has been fairly quiet.

I think it's difficult to predict. I've been in at similar times of day, and find it varies a lot from almost empty, to difficulty finding a seat!

Certainly mornings seem to be the busiest. I've always found Fridays and Saturday's quite quiet - maybe I've just been lucky!

For most of my flights I have been in the CH anywhere between 0700 and 1200 hours. After the morning departures there are several very popular flights queueing; midday has always been a busy time when I've done the afternoon flights LHR-JFK or LHR-LAX.

Oh goody[^], It does sound as if it won't be too bad. We should be arriving at the LHR Clubhouse about 3pm for the 21.00 flight to DXB. So plenty of time to enjoy the start of our holiday [:D].
Methinks a late lunch followed by a late supper, interspersed with brandy and coke (decent brandy I hope) and of course a glass or two of good bubbly.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what sort of meals I could expect on the menu. I have read that the Club burger/sandwich is very good but unfortunately my gastric band won't allow it[:I]
As this will be only my second time in UC (J), I do want to make the most of it.[:)]

Hi Honeylamb,
Thank you for replying so quickly. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to access the link. I get a message saying -
' SORRY, WE DON'T SEEM TO HAVE THAT PAGE
The page you are looking for may have been removed, renamed or is temporarily unavailable.
Please return to the Virgin Atlantic home page'
Is there another site or link that I could look at?

Thanks Baloo. I have indeed booked some treatments and am now counting down the days!
Honeylamb,
I managed to access your link in the end. I forgot that I had to right click on the link and save to another file to open it as it was a pdf. file. My wee laptop only allows me to do it this way!
