and in the latest set of Centurion offers... use of Necker Island for a week with 20 odd colleagues/friends - the all inclusive price includes Club World returns with B.A.... suspect someone somewhere deserves a slap.

As per the other thread - VS Marketing's left hand division and right hand division strike again!

Unless Virgin Ltd Edition did actually do some research and found that they felt more would be interested in the offer if it included BA Flights as that is something more of their target audience would want / use.
Saying that, still a bit of a big missed opportunity for VS, that or they just charged more than BA.

somewhere near £250,000. £7,990 per person assuming 28 people. Seems like a bit of a hike.

Well list price is $23,500 per couple a week. 1,000,000 FC points would get you 10 UC returns with a nominal value of say £20,000 or $40,000 - so not a very good rate of return.

It's $47k per night if I recall.
http://www.neckerisland.com/Downloads/N ... rd2008.pdfBut then this is AmEx Centurion who sent me an offer for 7 nights at the Ritz Carlton in MCO and Upper Class flights for a reasonable price, but stated as an exclusive benefit I'd get access to the new V-Room. F*ckwits.

Maybe a lot of Cent cards have families, in which case the V-Room may be more suitable. [}:)]

The phrase been there, done that, got the t-shirt springs to mind.
Worth every cent IMHO.
