We flew LHR to SFO just before Easter 2008 total cost 1350 for 2 adults and 3 kids. Pricing the same flights for 2009 is 2700. CAn this be right? M+M fares both times. 100% increase?

OR... you purchased the original tickets during a sale, which isn't currently on for 2009 [;)]

And for five people there's what, an additional £250 in fuel surcharges alone ... actually does anyone have a chart of how these have gone up?

The different days could increase the price, especially if the school easter holiday moves which it does all the time,

And like slinky said the surcharge per passenger has increased so this plays its part as well

Hasn't the APD doubled as well during this period?
