I e-mailed virgin customer services at 05:35 this morning, just before I set off to work.

When I got home this afternoon I noticed that they had replied at 06:13, thinking it was just the usual 'we have received your e-mail etc' reply, imagine my suprise that it was an actual reply to my question!

So a reply in 38 mins, not bad at all[y]. Can anybody beat that?

The question I asked (just incase anybody wants to know) was 'where is my new silver pack', its now over 14 weeks since my old silver card ran out and 16 weeks or so since I re-qualified!

(Ok, I'll admit, its pouring with rain here and I'm bored[|)][|)]!!)

'"It will be in the post ASAP.'

They said that 6 weeks ago as well[n]."

I received mine less than 4 weeks after my flight. Got a letter last week apologising it had not been sent and I should get it within the next few weeks[?]

I was so annoyed with an UC check-in experience in Washington last year I e-mailed CS from the Clubhouse, and got a reply before my flight took off. Wasn't quite 38 minutes, but I was still impressed.

It's like any company, they have busy times and quiet times for correspondence. After the summer holidays and the 'why did you move me from seat xxx' influx you'll have to wait about 2 weeks. Also depends on if they have to do any investigations off-line.

Relax, it was a member of the cleaning crew who happened to find a computer that hadn't been logged out, of course with this resume this person will be made head of flight operations next.
