Terrific Customer Service

Took the opportunity of the Upper Class Summer Sale to book four tickets for our family to Washington next month to attend a friend's wedding. Trying to be very organised I enrolled both my teenage children in Flying Club at the time of booking.

Reading a posting on this site about Miles More Friends, I realised that what I should have done of course was to enroll them through this scheme so that the three of us would benefit from the bonus miles. I wrote in to Customer Services a couple of days ago asking whether it would be possible to retrospectively enroll them this way without much hope of a positive outcome.

I was therefore delighted to receive this morning a charming letter from Flying Club confirming that they had made the necessary changes (including making changes to ensure booking names and FC names matched) and wishing us all a very enjoyable flight. Most impressed.

Great result

Just one thing though, the site rules do not allow the publishing of VS staff names unless they give their explicit approval. Can you edit the name out?
