Hi,

I have just logged onto VA website to check where my seats are for the outbound leg of my journey (LHR to MIA, 6th Sept, Econ) and this message came up:

'London to Miami, Sat 06 Sep, 09:20
We're sorry. The seat map is not available at this time. Your seats will be assigned at check in.'

Do you think this is temperary, or will I have to wait til check in?

I had already choose some seats and didn't really want to loose them.

Thanks for any help!

I think it must be a specific thing regarding your flight because I have literally just been on the seat map myself and it was all working fine?

This happens when the 60% of seats that are available for pre-selection are all reserved, so they block it off as there are no other options available until OLCI stage.

Your original seats requests will be there, and in the screen before if you click under your name it should show your current seat assignments.

I have just read the FAQ. I think it maybe that the 60% seat allocation allowed for choosing has been used up. I'm hoping when I'm able to check-in online more seats will become available and i'll be able to nab a seat nearer the front!
