Is there an easy way of seeing when seasonal routes start-end

Looking specifically at the LHR-CPT route this Autumn? [?] -Sister-in-law dropping sprog somewhere between namibia-Cpt subject to progress...

Failing this being available, who's the best -wise for internal flights Jo'burg-Cpt

Failing this as well, any comments on SA airways in comparison to Virgin, cattle class or PE the likely seats (3 year old joining the trip..)

Try Kulula, although SAA was OK pricewise for me earlier this year for an internal flight - and they didn't charge for food and drink

season started 29th oct last year - so i would guess somewhere around there although i am sure we can pin down some dates if we look at the virgin website

update: virgin website says it starts 26th october out of LHR

re internal flights - i love 1time(http://www.1time.aero) - great cheap service without the stupidity of kulula (sorry HL - I hate the way they treat people like children)

Really depends on what you prepared to do.. The cheapest way to get to CPT is probably Air Namibia with a change in Windhoek. Or via Dubai with Emirates or Doha with Qatar (stops in JHB). Direct you only have BA or SAA - BA prob cheapest but depends on the dates. Could also consider going with KLM/AF as its a short stop in Europe.

Best bet would be to hunt around - not that many airlines fly to CPT so its a matter on a handful of searches..

good luck

BA are pretty good price wise to CPT before the season, from what I have experienced.

My friend did EK to JNB and said never again. Nothing wrong with the flights but the journey was just so long that way...
