Just checked in for our flight from HKG - LHR and its a suite (1st time)

The lounge however is sub par to the usual, when ordering from the Virgin Menu brought celephane rapped finger sandwiches which were in-edible. When asking for a simple cookie or biscuit told that this was not possible, this is certinaly not London Heathrow and falls a long short of experience at other lounges around the world.

From talking to the staff it appears they are actually from Dragonair (in Virgin uniform) and work a 6 day week so you can kind of understand the sub service, but a bit of a shame as lets the Virgin brand slip a bit......

Fingers crossed for an enjoyable and safe flight with trip report to follow. Off to the Virgin Summer party on Sunday so hopefully we will get a good nights sleep tonight in prep after a great 3wk asia trip.....
