LHR Clubhouse - busy on Saturdays

Looking to fly Man > LHR > DXB next June.

As we are only going to be flying economy, we usually like to get to the airport early to see if we can get any extra legroom seats, but as we will be connecting, this means that we will have to fly in from manchester a few hours earlier than necessary.

As we are booking through VH, I know we can buy Clubhouse access, so we may do this to while away the extra hours.

Now as it will be purchased through VH, am I right in thinking we can't pre-book beauty treatments, and it will be first come, first served on the day? If so, as we will be there saturday afternoon, how busy will the Clubhouse be, and what is the likelihood of me and my partner getting treatments. If it is going to be nigh on impossible, we may not bother as 60 pp is quite a bit not to experience the 'full' clubhouse.

We booked via VH when we flew PE to Hong Kong and sorting treatments in the Cowshed was a breeze.

I think the clubhouse is always fairly busy but its very big so shouldn't be too bad for you.

Have a good trip.

I have been into the Clubhouse on a Saturday and it has never been too busy, but it only needs a couple of delays for that to change. As DXB is a later flight, there shouldn't be a problem.

Other V-Flyers who have booked their CH entry through Virgin Holidays have been able to book their treatments without a problem.

Hi Carolynn,

The DXB flight does not leave until 9pm so if you do get there in the afternoon as you indicated I would be surprised if you did not manage to get a treatment as that is a long time period. I usually pre-book but have had success getting a treatment on the day with a relatively small time window.

Thanks,
Sarah
