Upper Class - Two People

Decided to cash in all my miles to take Mrs Frog Upper Class to Vegas via SFO over Xmas.

On the SFO plane, which UC seats are best for two people travelling together.........D and G in the middle, G and K at the side, or A and K upstairs? I wasnt sure if the barrier thing on the seats would mean I wouldnt be able to see or hear her.

D and G in the middle have dividers that drop down optionally on the LHR 744 fleet. Where as all the outside ones don't, which can be a little bit unsociable.

Personally, the bubble is my favourite place.

Welcome to the site Froggitt.
A and K upstairs (or A and A or K and K).If you want to be able speak to her I'd go for 2xA or 2xK.Bubble is much nicer than downstairs IMHO.3 and 4 (A or K) are personal favourites.

Welcome to V-Flyer.

If you want to play footsie[}:)], 12 A&K are perfect the seats are that close.

This is a fairly frequent question. If you do a forum search, there are already some very good suggestions to add to the ones in this thread.

This thread.

This quite old one.

These are two examples, but there are others.

Thanks for all the responses and links to the old threads. I'll go and have a look at whats available.....from memory the front of downstairs was all gone, so its D/G downstairs or A/A K/K upstairs.

Not been UC since the previous seats which slid you down to the bottom of the chair during the night as they were at a slight incline.

Welcome to the site, and congrats on getting your G rewards.

AA/KK are good choices, enjoy Vegas. I love Vegas over Xmas, remember to take a warm coat with you, vegas can be quite nippy once the sun sets.

As a personal choice west bound we prefer seats opposite eachother so we can talk, east bound it is AA/KK so there is a little peace and quiet and sleep....Well ok it's my choice more than Mrs Scrooge's...But they are my miles paying for the trip [:w]

Are we to assume you don't actually want to see or hear her? If so, may I suggest going on separate flights?

Well actually, there was a one seat UC availability to LAX on two consecutive days, which I did suggest......crashed and burnt would be the best description of the reception that suggestion got.

I guess if Im being really picky, Id be happy to see her but not to hear her..........

May I recommend a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones? They work not only with spouses, but toddlers too.
